The purpose of this study was to establish a snowplow deployment management method considering the attributes of regions and routes (i.e.、 snow removal site conditions、 including weather conditions、 roadside conditions、 road alignments、 etc.).[*]More specifically、 we analyzed road management databases and existing data obtained using recording devices on snowplows in order to track their operation status and determine standard snow removal speeds suitable for the attributes of particular regions and routes. These speeds will serve as the basis to realize efficient and economical snowplow deployment. This standardization will allow the provision of an equal snow removal service to road users and allow more efficient snow removal supervision.[*]As a result of this study、 a method for determining standard snow removal speeds was established. The effectiveness of this determination was verified in efficiency evaluation of snow removal work using the standard、 and case studies for an economical deployment plan were conducted. |
