In order to estimate the deformation and load distribution of a single pile subjected to [*]dynamic horizontal load as well as vertical load、 a simplified method of three-dimensional [*]numerical analysis、 KWaveHybrid program、 is developed using a hybrid model. In the hybrid [*]model、 the pile is modelled as elastic beams、 and the soil at each pile node is treated as [*]springs and dashpots in both vertical and horizontal directions. KWaveHybrid is also able [*]to analyse the static response of the pile.
