To co-produce hydrogen which is one of the clean energy sources and benzene which is one of the chemical raw materials from biogas、 the demonstrative plant was placed. The experimental facility consisted of the biogas pre-treatment unit、 the methane dehydro-aromatization reforming unit and the steam reforming unit. Co-production of hydrogen and benzene was carried out by dehydro-aromatization reaction of methane and the material balance、 energy balance and CO2 emissions were clarified. To improve the hydrogen and benzene co-production system、 exergy analysis was carried out. With the result that total practical enthalpy efficiency and exergy efficiency were calculated at 0.22 and 0.20、 respectively. And then since the dehydro-aromatization sub-system revealed much higher exergy loss、 it was supposed that heat insulation and heat exchanging for this sub-system were inadequate. Furthermore、 in case the thermal power generation supplied electricity to the experimental facility、 amount of CO2 emissions was 3.19kg-CO2/Nm3 -biogas and in case the biogas co-generation supplied electricity、 the biogas demand was 3.76Nm3/Nm3-biogas and amount of CO2 emissions was free by the carbon neutral principle. |
