To establish a rational design metod of Prestressed Concrete (PC) rock-sheds,an impact test was conducted using a proto-type PC rock-shed which is composed of inverted L-shaped frame structures with one rigid connection and two hinged supports.In this study,a 90cm thick sand cushion was applied as shock absorbing system.The results obtained from this experiment are as follows:[*]1)the transmitted impact force on the roof slab was 1.4~1.5 times as much as the design impact force,2)the load share ratios of girders far from and near to edge were estimated as 40% and 45% respectively,and 3)the dynamic amplification factor was about 1.22 |
