In Japan,a pole to pull the gurderope is setted at the terminal of guardrail in mountain road or so.In general terminal pole is covered by a shock absorbing system in order to prevent the drivers life damage by the car accident.[*]But,once the car hit to the terminal pole,that,is,car accident of shocking,there in not little drivers life damage.And this damage is caused by the over speed,while we must take caution of the characteristic of the shock absorbing system of terminal pole.[*]From this reason,we try to analyze the prevent terminal pole shock absorbing system,and to develop the new type system using the wavesteel type plate.On the case that we try to experriment the car crushable test using new type shock absorbing system,the measuerd acceleation in the car room dose not change up to the cars crushable renge,comparing with no system.[*]However,by this experiment,the follows result are obtaind.[*]At the case of hitting to the terminal pole with a shock absorbing system,cars damage is little.[*]Over the case of cars crushable renge,the measured acceleration decrease.
