| The increase of industrial，residential constructions and operation of system inevitably affects the entironment．As a result，they become a major focus of attention and conflict．Some of these concerns，such as global warming and pollution or reduction of resources are considered as universal．At the other end of the scale are matters at the community or neighborhood level such as the effects of airpollution，noise，and paving over the landscape．These facts concern the future prosperity of all living things，and perhaps they’re very existence．[*]Henceby the end of the 20th century，there has been growing interest in using Environmentally friendly Materials．Porous Concrete，refereed hereinafter as POC，is not a new material butits use today as an ecological material is expending．It is thought that its use might improve life cycle of all living things．The present notes report the effect of mixture proportions on the mechanical properties of POC and its environmental applications．Briefly sets of curves showing the effects of POC’s components on its mechanical proprties are presented．Moreover，coexistence of POC with plants，use of POC as a habitat for aquatic organisms and Feasibility of POC to control storm water run-off are also introduced． |
